How To Open A Till or Bank

To open a till or bank, refer to the instructions below.  For more detailed information, refer to the Point of Success Manual, located from the Windows Start Menu>All Programs>Point of Success>Point of Success Manual.  A PDF reader is required to view the manual.  NOTE:  The Point of Success Manual is located on the Server Computer.

Steps to open a till or bank:

• Open Point of Success Order Entry
• Select the MANAGER button
• Select the TILLS and BANKS button
• Select the NEW button
• Choose either Till, Server Bank or Driver Bank
• Select OK-the till or bank is now open.

NOTE:  A cash drawer must be enabled before a till can be opened.

To enable a cash drawer:

• Open Point of Success Order Entry
• Select the MANAGER button
• Select WORKSTATION SETUP
• Select the CASH DRAWER tab
• Enable CASH DRAWER 1
