Using Caller ID on a Single Computer

Point of Success Caller ID requires network communication to notify inform workstations of call status. If Caller ID is used in a network environment there is no additional configuration required. If Caller ID is used in a single computer Point of Success installation select one of these options:

1. Connect the computer to a network switch even though there is no network in use.

2. Install the Microsft Loopback Adapter. This is a virtual network adapter and requires no hardware. Search the web for instructions on installing this software option.
